Let’s start (:
I’m writing about our SV (Selbstversorger) cabin trip with our 2c class.
We stayed there about two and a half days, cooked food on our own and planned the whole week on our own. This included researching cabins, calling the owners, making a time table for the whole week, planning workshops, dividing us into working groups who were responsible for different things, planning how much food we need, talking about which food we will need which included a discussion about healthy food etc.
One day before we drove there, we as a class went to the farmer`s market to get the food for the days at the cabin. So we drove to the “Kaiser-Franz-Josef Platz” and built groups in which we bought the food. One group bought everything for breakfast, one group for lunch and other groups for dinner or snacks and each group had to calculate everything very carefully.
One day later we drove to the SV cabin with a lot of fun and divided up our rooms and had a look at the kitchen, the bathroom etc.
The first group started to cook lunch and the others played in the garden or started with a workshop.
The “lunchgroup” decorated the table very nicely and after eating we always had groups for cleaning and honestly, we needed to chill and enjoy the time there after cleaning. We had a lot fun and we noticed that we really need us as a team, because without it we couldn`t cook or clean together for example. As a team every process is a lot easier. We also noticed that without our wonderful teachers who helped us at the cabin in St.Radegund we weren´t able to have such a wonderful trip and we really learned a lot (Quellenrundgang, schnitzen, kochen, gesunde Ernährung, wieviel man für 30 hungrige Krötifanten zum Essen braucht, dass St.Radegund & der Schöckel noch zu Graz gehören;) etc.) We really liked it to be outside and for example, to make our own soup out of herbs from a grass field or our own pizza dough. We also liked the homemade noodles from Josh and Thomas. Thank you (;
Our evenings were always a lot of fun, because we as a group played ,, Werwolf” , ,, WWOP” , ,,Black Stories” etc. On the last evening we made a ,,Lagerfeuer” and enjoyed our selfmade ,,Steckerlbrot”. I made the dough for it with Nina,Rebeka,Angi &Rita. We sat there till’ late in the night and sang some songs, which fit to our class like ,,Ein hoch auf uns”.
It was a lot of work to plan everything on our own but we really had a great week and learned a lot outside, so ein hoch auf uns die 2C & die Projektwoche ;)
